HAYWARD, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos began their weekend road trip in Hayward as they took on the Cal State East Bay Pioneers. The Broncos were able to keep they Pioneers out of the net, defeating them 2-0.

Allyssa Larkin scored the Broncos first goal from an assist by forward
Tara Oper. Midfielder
Liberty Ortiz scored the final goal of the match in the 62
nd minute. CPP collected their fourth shutout of the season as they toppled the Pioneers, 2-0.

Audrey Brown had seven saves on the game, the most saves she has collected in a single game as a Bronco. Larkin led the team in shots as she took four shots with three shots on goal. Oper and midfielder
Jordyn Scott each took two shots on the game.
CPP's next match is Sunday, October 23rd against Stanislaus State in Turlock with kickoff set for 11:30 am.
