SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos made the trip out to San Bernardino to take on the Cal State San Bernardino Yotes. The Broncos took the lead in the first half, but a second half Yotes goal took the game to its final score, 1-1.
 
In the 16^th minute, midfielder Christian Miramontes scored his first goal of the season from an assist by midfielder Woody Angell. The Broncos were up, 1-0, until the 50^th minute of the match when the Yotes scored the goal to tie the game 1-1.
 
The tie brings CPP's overall record to 8-1-3 and CCAA record to 3-0-2.
 
The Broncos were kept to five total shots on the game with one shot on goal. Goalkeeper Luke Garciduenas came in for the second half and collected a save.
 
CPP's next match is Sunday, October 9^th against Cal State San Marcos in Kellogg Stadium with kickoff set for 11:30 am.
