Broncos Tie At CSUSB, 1-1

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos made the trip out to San Bernardino to take on the Cal State San Bernardino Yotes. The Broncos took the lead in the first half, but a second half Yotes goal took the game to its final score, 1-1.
 
In the 16th minute, midfielder Christian Miramontes scored his first goal of the season from an assist by midfielder Woody Angell. The Broncos were up, 1-0, until the 50th minute of the match when the Yotes scored the goal to tie the game 1-1.
 
The tie brings CPP's overall record to 8-1-3 and CCAA record to 3-0-2.
 
The Broncos were kept to five total shots on the game with one shot on goal. Goalkeeper Luke Garciduenas came in for the second half and collected a save.
 
CPP's next match is Sunday, October 9th against Cal State San Marcos in Kellogg Stadium with kickoff set for 11:30 am.

New this year, only debit and credit cards will be accepted at the box office for admission. Limited concession items will be on sale on-site as well, but the concession stand will only accept cash.
