"CSUDH is a good team and they came with good energy," said coach
Matt O'Sullivan. "They put us on our heels early on and we need to start better. Everyone is going to have a different game plan against us, and I think we looked stunned a little early."
Coach O'Sullivan continued, "After we were down, we responded very well. We started to problem solve and we played well and got ourselves back in front with grit and determination. I liked our spirit but, it can't always come after adversity, we need it to come from within before anything goes wrong. It's very important we learn that lesson and recover quickly for a huge game on Sunday."
CPP's next match is Sunday, September 23
rd against Cal State Monterey Bay at Kellogg Stadium with kickoff set for 2:00 pm.
