Marco Malerba led the way with two hits and three RBI while
Tyler Chaffee went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBI.
Brent Cota recorded a game-high three hits with a double, a RBI and a run scored, and
Jordan Ku hit a triple and scored twice.

Eric Romo (1-0), who went the next inning and two-thirds, giving up three hits, a run, while striking out two.
Edrian Rangel and
Zuko Tillman combined to pitch the final three innings and didn't allow a hit.
UCCS designated hitter Brad Madison led the visitors with a 2 for 4 day at the plate, scoring two of the three Mountain Lion runs.
