Broncos Fall In Series Finale To Split Series At CSUDH

CARSON, Calif. – Brent Cota went 3 for 5 with two doubles and a RBI, but the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team lost to host Cal State Dominguez Hills, 7-6, on Sunday to split the four-game series in Carson.
 
The Broncos fall to 18-11 overall and 10-9 in the CCAA. The Toros improve to 15-13, 10-8 CCAA.
 
Cal Poly Pomona will return home this week to host Cal State LA in a four-game series beginning Thursday.

  • Head coach Randy Betten is now 373-230 in 12 seasons at Cal Poly Pomona, including 141-121 on the road and 263-169 in CCAA games.
  • The Broncos are now 131-91 all-time against Cal State Dominguez Hills.
  • CPP is 4-2 this season when wearing its Green jersey tops.
