Head coach Jay Mason, a three-time CCAA Coach of the Year, returns for another year at the helm of a team filled with both experience and fresh talent. "We are thrilled to kick off the 2025 season with an outstanding group of young women," said Mason. "I have full confidence that this team will leave no doubt about their aspirations and determination this year. They are eager to be back together and are proud to represent CPP at the highest level."

The Broncos return several key seniors who played critical roles in last season's title run. Leading the way is Vanessa Cruz, a senior forward and midfielder who had a breakout season in 2024, earning All-American honors and sweeping several major CCAA awards: Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and Forward of the Year. Liberty Ortiz, a senior defender and midfielder, was named to the All-West Region First Team and provided consistency and leadership throughout the back line and midfield. Marisa Salazar, a senior midfielder, earned Second Team honors and received the CCAA Elite 13 Award for academic and athletic excellence. Angelina Rivas, a senior forward, was recognized with a CCAA Honorable Mention and is expected to be a key part of the Broncos' attacking unit again this fall.

Coach Mason also emphasized the impact of new faces in the program, noting that the team's depth has only improved. "This fall, we will rely on the leadership of our upperclassmen while embracing the impact of our newest additions," he said. "Our talented freshman class, combined with a strong group of transfers, brings depth, energy, and a fresh dynamic that will elevate our program as we move forward."

Cal Poly Pomona will begin its 2025 season with three consecutive home matches, starting with the season opener against Azusa Pacific on September 4th. The Broncos will then travel to face Point Loma before beginning CCAA play on October 3rd with a road match at Cal State Monterey Bay. Their first home conference match is scheduled for October 10th against Chico State.

The 2025 CCAA Tournament will be held at Cardinale Stadium, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay.
