POMONA, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team visited the Arabian Horse Center on campus for a team-bonding experience.

The morning began at 6 a.m. with a welcome, introduction and brief history of the center before the Broncos assisted with feeding the horses and cleaning stalls. The team then participated in an RTV experience and hay bale exercise before learning about horse handling and grooming.

The Broncos continued the morning by taking part in horse lunging, an activity that allowed them to work directly with the horses and strengthen their communication and teamwork skills.

The visit provided the team with a unique opportunity to connect away from the court while developing trust, communication and teamwork.

The Broncos open their 2026-27 campaign on November 13 against Seattle Pacific in Chico during the CCAA/GNAC Challenge.
