RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Cal Poly Pomona delivered a well-rounded performance on Saturday at the UCR Spring Break Classic, setting 22 personal records while also dominating across several event groups.

Ian Strode captured the title with a clearance of 4.90 meters (16-0.75), reaching the NCAA Division II provisional standard, while Garrett Higgins and Gavin Hanes each cleared 4.60 meters to place second and third, respectively. Mio Desclous added a fourth-place finish at 4.45 meters, giving the Broncos a clean sweep of the event.

On the track, the Broncos were balanced across sprint and hurdle events. Freshman Harry Chen led the way in the 110-meter hurdles with a second-place finish in 14.81, followed closely by Luke Amico (14.94) and Keegan Schmidt (15.25).
