EMPORIA, Kan. - Collin Joyce represented Cal Poly Pomona in the men's triple jump finals at the NCAA Championships on Saturday afternoon at Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas. The redshirt sophomore placed 22nd overall with a mark of 13.09 meters (42 feet, 11.5 inches).
 
Joyce returned to the national stage after earning All-America honors in the event just a season ago. The Chatsworth native had a strong season for the Broncos, jumping 15.54 meters back on March 21^st to earn his second straight trip to the NCAA Championships.
