MONTERREY, Mexico – Former Cal Poly Pomona baseball All-American Kyle Garlick continues to add to his impressive professional baseball résumé, earning selection to the 2026 Mexican Baseball League (LMB) All-Star Game as one of the league's top performers with the Charros de Jalisco.

On Sunday, the former Bronco batted cleanup for the LMB Banorte All-Stars, whose roster also featured former Major League Baseball standouts Robinson Canó, Justin Turner, Seth Beer, Yangervis Solarte, and Thairo Estrada. Garlick went 2-for-2 in the team's 5-3 victory over the Mexican National Baseball Team at Walmart Park in Monterrey, including an RBI single to right field.

Garlick has been among the LMB's most productive hitters this season, batting .355 with a .414 on-base percentage and .678 slugging percentage through 57 games. He has collected 75 hits, including 18 doubles and 16 home runs, while driving in 58 runs and scoring 43 times. His 1.092 OPS ranks among the league's elite as he makes his first appearance in the Mexican Baseball League All-Star Game.

The Chino Hills native has enjoyed tremendous success since joining Jalisco. After batting .297 with 18 home runs, 64 RBI, and a .957 OPS in 2025, Garlick has elevated his production even further this season while establishing himself as one of the circuit's premier power hitters.

Garlick's professional career spans more than a decade and includes time in the Los Angeles Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Twins, and Arizona Diamondbacks organizations. He appeared in 158 Major League games from 2019-23, hitting 19 home runs and driving in 41 runs.

Before launching his professional career, Garlick put together one of the most impressive single seasons in Cal Poly Pomona history in 2015. He batted .358 with 87 hits, a school-record 17 home runs, 56 RBI and a 1.119 OPS while leading the Broncos to the CCAA regular-season championship, CCAA Tournament title, and NCAA Division II West Regional championship. His 70 runs scored and 162 total bases both rank among the top single-season marks in program history. He also earned All-CCAA First Team, CCAA All-Tournament Team, All-West Region First Team, and All-America Second Team honors.

Following that standout campaign, Garlick was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 28th round of the 2015 MLB Draft and later became the 11th Bronco to reach the Major Leagues.

Garlick's All-Star selection adds another achievement to an already accomplished professional career. From starring at Cal Poly Pomona to reaching the Major Leagues and now earning recognition as one of the Mexican Baseball League's top players, he continues to represent the Broncos on the international stage.
