Santa Barbara, Calif - The Cal Poly Pomona Cheerleading squad recently delivered a strong performance at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College Camp, earning first place in the small coed fight song division and third place in both small coed sideline and small coed overall

The Broncos competed against several schools, including UC Davis, USC, Arizona Western College, Loyola Marymount University, and UC San Diego.

"We are extremely proud of the work our team put in this past weekend," Head Coach Cesar Govea said. "They challenged themselves, kept pace, and had the opportunity to learn alongside some of the best university cheer programs on the West Coast. We're excited about what we accomplished and the growth we saw as a team. Now, we're looking forward to supporting our Bronco athletic teams throughout the season and continuing to prepare for Nationals this February."
