In 2013 Track and Field: Registered the team's top 1,500-meter time of the season while ranking second to his brother Ryan in both the 3,000- and 5,000-meter events... On April 13 at Pomona Pitzer, he posted a time of 3:56.42 in the 1,500-meter race... That mark is just six seconds shy of landing in the Broncos' all-time top 10.

At Cal State Fullerton: Served as the captain of CSUF's cross country team in 2011 and earned the program's Runner of the Year honor... Finished the 2011 NCAA Division I West Region Championships with a 31:40 mark through the 10,000-meter course... Placed 23rd at the 2011 Big West Conference Championships with a time of 24:45.3, the top mark for the Titans' squad... Also competed in track and field, setting a new 5,000-meter personal best at 14:31.

High School: A 2009 graduate of La Quinta High School... Set the program's three-mile record at 14:58... In both 2007 and 2008, he advanced as a CIF State Championship Individual Qualifier and also captured Garden Grove League Cross Country titles... Collected All-Orange County First Team recognition in 2008... Become the Garden Grove League record holder for the 1,600-meter event in 2007.

Personal: Son of Holly and Richard Carrell... His twin brother Ryan also competes on the Broncos' cross country and track and field teams... Has an older sister named Claire... Kinesiology major...
