Biography

As a Sophomore in 2013: Batted .241 during his sophomore season while drawing 14 walks to post an on-base percentage of .343... Knocked three homeruns through the year for the second-best total on the team... Tallied seven multi-hit games during the 2013 campaign... Recorded four sacrifice hits.

As a Freshman in 2012: Among players with more than 75 at-bats, he led the Broncos in hitting in 2012 with a .355 average... Started a triple play in the season's second game, a Broncos' home win over Saint Martin's... With two runners on base and nobody out, he dove to his left to snare the line drive and the Broncos were able to catch the runners before they got to their bags for a 4-6-3 triple play... Ranked fourth on the team in doubles with nine despite only appearing in 26 games and making 19 starts... Went a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts... Ended the year on a five-game hitting streak and went 4-for-6 with four RBI in the final contest of 2012.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Glendora High School... Put together a solid high school baseball career in helping the Glendora Tartans to a CIF championship in 2010... Although the 2011 campaign ended in the first round of the postseason, the 5-foot-10 infielder finished his senior season strong with a 15-game hitting streak... That stretch included a 4-for-4 performance featuring two triples... Completed the 2011 season with a batting average of .448 while slugging .816... An All-League First Team honoree, he helped Glendora top rival Los Osos in April with a dramatic three-run homer in the game's final inning.
