As a Sophomore in 2013: Combined with fellow defenders Megan Kisslan and Kristin Mihara to help CPP to allow just 17 goals through the team's 18 matches... Ranked second on the squad in minutes with 1,723... Registered her first career point with an assist in the 1-1 draw against Humboldt State on Sept. 29.
As a Redshirt Freshman in 2012: Developed a strong defensive presence for the Broncos and started 15 of the 18 matches she appeared in, playing 90 minutes or more in 11 games… Logged 1,480 total minutes, which was good enough for third-highest on the team… Recorded one shot on goal for the season.
As a Freshman in 2011: Did not compete in any matches during 2011 and received the redshirt designation.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Walnut High School... Selected as the Most Valuable Defender and received All-League First Team honors... In the classroom, received mention as AP Scholar with Honors and Honorary Scholar award.
Personal: Daughter of James and Rene Shu... Has four siblings named Heather, Alex, Megan and Andrew... Chemical Engineering major... Enjoys eating and sleeping in her free time... Favorite pro athlete is Jeremy Lin… Aspires to become a chemical engineer.
