As a Junior in 2017: Started 56 games and posted a .271 batting average...collected 9 doubles and hit 2 homeruns... Drove in 24 runners and collected 68 total bases...Recorded a .330 on base percentage... Fielded 1.000 %. 

As a Sophomore in 2016: Started in 53 of the 56 games he played for the Broncos… Finished with a .302 batting average to go along with 57 hits in 189 at bats… Scored 36 runs for the Green and Gold… Collected one home run, 34 RBI’s and 73 total bases… Recorded a .351 on base percentage and a .386 slugging percentage… Converted on 122 putouts in the outfield and had just one error on a .992 fielding percentage… 

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2015: Played in all 63 games of the Broncos' third-place nationally finishing team in 2015... Made 53 starts in oufield for the Green and Gold... Compiled 39 hits in 169 at bats, also secured 22 walks and was twice hit by a pitch... Racked up 24 RBIs and 45 total bases... Scored 33 times for the Broncos... Tallied a .325 on base percentage... Stole 3-of-3 bases attempted... Recorded 98 putouts in the outfield and commited just one error for a .990 fielding percentage... 

As a Freshman in 2014: Did not compete for the Broncos and received the redshirt designation.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Chaparral High School... Received All-Southwestern League honors in 2012 and 2013... Named the team's Most Valuable Player as a senior... Guided his team to the Chino Hills Tournament championship... Excelled in the classroom as well, receiving Honor Roll selection as a junior and senior.

Personal: Son of Donna and John Bernardy... Born July 27, 1995... Has two siblings named Jamie and Joseph... Business Administration major... Enjoys playing billiards, golfing, bowling, and being outside... Favorite movie is The Watch... Favoite food is barbeque chicken... Favorite pro teams are the San Diego Padres, San Diego Chargers and Los Angeles Lakers... Favorite pro athlete is Kobe Bryant... Aspires to have a career in Sports Marketing.
