Biography
As a Junior in 2014: Captured the conference title in the hepathlon... She set an impressive personal best in the javelin, recording a 122-9 mark to outdistance her competitors by a wide margin... Through the two days of heptathlon events, she totaled 4,841 points and that total ranks sixth all-time in the Bronco record book.
As a Sophomore in 2013: Competed in the heptathalon for the Broncos... While at the CCAA Championships on May 3, she scored 4,381 points for her combined seven events… Her performance put her 10th all-time on the Bronco leaderboard.
As a Freshman in 2012: Competed in the 200-meters, 800-meters, 100-Hurdles, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Javelin, and Heptathlon for the Broncos…Had a strong showing at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships (CCAA) earning second place in the Javelin Throw recording a distance of 107-0…In addition took fourth place at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships (CCAA) in Heptathlon earning 4,108 points…Also at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships (CCAA) recorded a 17.85 in the 100 Hurdles, and a 31-6 in Shot Put.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Poway High School... Earned All-League First Team honors as a key contributor to the track and field team... Also received All-Academic Team selection in 2011.
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Sue Zwinger... Apparel Merchandising and Management major... Enjoys sleeping, adventures or going to the desert in her free time... Favorite athlete is Ryan Villopoto... Favorite pro teams are the San Francisco Giants and the Chicago Bears.
