In 2016 Track & Field: Set personal bests in four different events, including a new PR in the 1,500-meter event when she crossed the line in 4:37.34 at the All on the Line meet to close out the season... Ran to an 18:12.52 in the 5,000-meter event at the Bryan Clay Invite.
In 2014 Cross Country: Competing in six cross country meets, her best 6,000-meter race appeared at the NCAA DII West Regionals meet where she ran her personal best with a time of 22:40.89. She ended her season just missing her personal best in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 18:42.2, just two seconds shy of her PR.
In 2014 Track & Field: Starred in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, recording a time of 12:06.48 on March 21 to rank eighth all-time in the Broncos' record book for that event... Turned in the team's second-best 1,500-meter time of the season with a 4:44.49 mark at UC San Diego.
In 2013 Cross Country: Turned in the team's top performance for the Broncos at regioanls as she placed 34th individually with a time of 23:00.2... That marked a significant improvement from her regionals appearance in 2012, when she took 45th at 23:11.0.
In 2013 Track and Field: Specialized in the 3,000- and 5,000-meter events during the spring season... Finished with the team's second-best 5,000-meter mark of the 2013 campaign as she crossed the line in 18:40.1 at the Pomona Pitzer meet on April 13... Earned a spot on the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic Team after compiling a grade point average above 3.40 through the 2012-13 academic year.
In 2012 Cross Country: Put together an impressive freshman season on the trails... Recorded times in the 23-minute range through four of the five meets she competed in, including the CCAA and West Region Championship events... Finished 12th overall at the Pomona Pitzer Invite, racing to the line in a season-best 23:04.8.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Torrance High School... As a senior, served as team captain for both cross country and track and field... Guided the cross country team to a league title in 2010 and the squad reached the CIF Prelims all four years... Received a wide range of cross country awards, including the Blanket Award, the Coaches' Award, the Most Inspirational Award and the Most Valuable Runner Award... Helped the track and field team capture the Pioneer League championship in 2012 and the squad reached CIF Prelims in three seasons... For her work in the classroom, she received numerous Achievement Award nominations and accolades through the California Scholarship Federation and National Honors Society.
Personal: Daughter of Cathy and Lloyd Morris... Has an older brother named Joshua... Animal Science major... Enjoys hiking, kayaking, the beach, reading, music, drawing, volunteering and hanging out with friends and family in her free time... She also feels blessed for the opportunities to go on mission trips with her church, where she's developed a love for the families and children she's met... Favorite pro athletes are Louis Zamperini, Abby Wambach and Kristine Lilly... Favorite pro team is the U.S. Women's Soccer National Team... Aspires to become a veterinarian
