As a Sophomore in 2010: Played in one match during the 2010 campaign, recording three saves in 45 minutes of action.

As a Freshman in 2009: Saw action in five games and earned three starts his freshman season... Went 2-0-1 in 262-plus minutes of play... Earned first start against  Humboldt State and earned the win with one save in opening half... Played the final 53 minutes against SFSU with two saves as Broncos won in OT... Followed that game with 1-1 tie at CSUMB that weekend... One of 40 CPP student-athletes who earned CCAA All-Academic honors.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Iolani High School, where he was a three-year letterwinner… Recorded eight shutouts for the ILH champions and state champions as a senior…Earned first-team all-state honors and first-team ILH honors… Recorded 10 shutouts as a junior as his team finished second in the state and won the ILH title… A first-team All-ILH honoree and second-team all-state… Earned one letter in football.

Personal: Son of Keith and Sharon Otani… Mechanical Engineering major… Enjoys skateboarding and working on his car in his free time... Favorite athlete is Hope Solo... Favorite pro team is the Tottenham Hotspurs... Aspires to become an engineer for a formula team.
