As a Junior in 2013: Turned in a stellar debut season as a Bronco in 2013... Finished with the second-lowest ERA on the team among full-time relievers... Made 21 appearances, including one game started... Totaled 30.2 innings pitched with 25 strikeouts... Recorded season-high four strikeouts against Azusa Pacific.

At Feather River College: Led the Feather River pitching staff with a 5-2 record and 49 strikeouts in 48 innings pitched... While posting a 3.75 earned run average, he helped the Golden Eagles capture back-to-back conference titles and collected All-Academic First Team honors along the way. 

High School: A 2010 graduate of Chico High School... Two-time letterwinner in both basketball and baseball.

Personal: Born June 12, 1991… Son of Marty and Susan Amaro… Mother played collegiate golf at Sacramento State... Has an older sibling named Patti and a younger sibling named Jack… Business Administration major… Favorite sports teams are the San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco 49ers… Favorite athletes are Brett Favre, Chris Webber and Barry Bonds… Enjoys playing video games, watching sports and golfing in his free time… Aspires to be a financial executive.
