Bo Walter enters his first season as a Program Associate in the Broncos’ baseball program. Walter was a member of the Broncos’ team as a player for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
In the 2014 season, Walter started all 49 games and ended the season with a .290 batting average. Between Feb. 21 and Mar. 14, Walter recorded an 11 game hitting streak, posting 14 hits. He was fourth on the team with 27 runs batted in and just five at-bats shy of leading the team in number of plate appearances. Went 2-for-4 in the Broncos’ 12-3 win against Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 3, getting on base 3 times, scoring each time and driving in two runs.
As a junior in 2013, Walter posted the second highest batting average on the team with a .343 mark. He tied for the team lead with 11 doubles and put together a 13 game hitting streak through the heart of the CCAA regular season.
He is a native of Lafayette, California, and has a brother, Donald who played for the Broncos for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
