Justin Beck is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team in 2023.
In his current position at CPP, Beck serves as the infield coach and also helps with hitting.
Beck came to CPP after serving as the Director of Operations for the UC San Diego baseball team for three seasons from 2019 to 2021. He played at UC San Diego for his senior season in 2018, earning All-Region and All-Conference honors as a second baseman.
A native of Upland, Calif., Beck started 53 of 57 games played at second base during UC San Diego's run to two trophies in 2018, hitting .308 with 47 runs, 14 doubles, nine home runs, 41 RBI, 39 walks, and a .983 fielding percentage. Beck picked up a pair of All-West Region distinctions, as well as All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Second Team honors. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
Prior to finishing his collegiate playing career at UCSD, Beck played three seasons at NCAA Division I San José State from 2015-17.
