2009: Appeared in 13 games with six starts… Hit .393 with five RBI… Had two doubles… Went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs in season finale at CWS participant UC San Diego… Picked up three RBI with a run-scoring double at Cal State Dominguez Hills (3/12/09).
At Modesto College: Hit .340 (Soph.) and .301 (Frosh.) as a two-year starter.
At Colony HS: Hit .457 and captained his senior season… Earned second-team all league... Played for Mike Sweeney, the father of current Oakland Athletic Mike Sweeney… Lettered twice in soccer (all-league his senior year).
Personal: Son of John and Elizabeth Jaques… Family of four children... Business major with an emphasis in management and human resources... Plans on working with his family 's dairy farm once he earns his degree.
