Biography

As a Senior in 2016: Started in 43 of the 47 games he played for the Green and Gold… Finished with a .397 batting average, connecting on 71 hits in 179 at bats… Converted on eight doubles and one triple…Scored 35 runs for the Broncos… Recorded 32 RBI’s and 81 total bases… Finished with a .450 on base percentage and a .453 slugging percentage… Stole 3-of-3 bases attempted.

As a Junior in 2015: Played in three games for the Broncos third-place nationally finishing team... Tallied five hits in 10 at bats... Recorded a pair of runs scored and an RBI... Also drew a walk... After the third game of the season, he sustained a season ending hand injury. 

As a Sophomore in 2014: Started in 16 of the 24 games he played... Recorded a .328 batting average with a 19-for-58 performance... Held a .406 on base percentage and a .345 slugging percentage... Scored nine times and knocked in nine runs... Had five strikeouts and drew eight walks... Stole three times on four attempts... Went 4-for-7 on the March 22 double header against Cal Baptist, complete with three runs batted in... Got a hit in 13 of the 24 games played... Maintained a 1.000 fielding percentage throughout the year. 

As a Freshman in 2013: Received All-CCAA Honorable Mention accolades for a strong 2013 season... Finished fourth on the team in batting average with a .326 mark... Started in 47 of the team's 50 games... Posted an on-base percentage of .381 and totaled 56 hits... Finished with 17 multi-hit games through his freshman campaign... Put together a 13-game hit streak during the middle of the season, including three-hit efforts against Sonoma State and Cal State Stanislaus... That 13-game hit streak matched teammate Bo Walter for the longest of the year for CPP.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Murrieta Valley High School... Three-time letterwinner in baseball under head coach Scott Widner... Two-time All-Southwestern League honoree... As a senior, he collected 17 runs and batted .343 while picking up Silver Slugger and Defensive Player of the Year honors for the Nighthawks.

Personal: Born Oct. 27, 1994… Son of John and Diane Padlo… Has a brother named Kevin who plays for the Tampa Bay Rays organization ... Father played minor league baseball for the San Francisco Giants… Grandfather played minor league baseball for the New York Yankees… Kinesiology major… Favorite movie is Warrior... Favorite type of food is Mexican Food... Favorite sports teams are the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Anaheim Ducks, and the New Orleans Saints… Favorite professional athlete is Derek Jeter… Enjoys working out on the baseball field and in the gym, snowboarding, and hanging out with friends and family in his free time… Aspires to play professional baseball and at the culmination of that career he would like to train and rehabilitate a professional baseball team.
