2009: Backed up freshman campaign with solid sophomore year… Hit .313 with 34 runs scored and 26 RBI… Fourteen multi-hit games with season-best four vs. SFSU (4/11 Game 1)… Five multi-RBI games with season-best five, also against SFSU… Season-best 11-game hitting streak (improved average 36 points in that stretch)… Hit .296 in CCAA play.
2008: Appeared in 36 games with 31 starts as a true freshman… One of only three Broncos to hit above .300… Hit .337 (33-of-98) with 11 RBI and 22 runs scored… Reached base on 18 walks and struck out just 15 times… Nine multi-hit games… Hit .404 in his final 17 games played (21-for-52) and raised batting average 76 points.
At Whittier Christian HS: A four-time all-league selection… Earned all-CIF his sophomore through senior seasons… Earned all-league and all-CIF in football… School won league titles in both football and baseball.
Personal: Son of John and Cynthia Villa… Kinesiology major… Enjoys playing video games and coaching.
