Biography

2009: Earned limited play for CPP… On April 18, credited with a 3-run single vs. Academy of Art that should have counted as a grand slam, but was called out due to players crossing each other at second… Later added a double in the same game… Earned spot duty as the P.A. announcer for Bronco volleyball.
2008: Appeared in 10 games with one start… Hit .167 (1-for-6).
2007: Played in 14 games with 10 starts… Went 2-for-22 (.091) with an RBI… Walked six times.
2006: Redshirt.
At Venice HS: Three-time All-Los Angeles City honoree… A four-time All-Western League honoree.
Personal: Son of Tim and Heather Alcantar… Kinesiology major… Enjoys playing guitar, working out, paintballing and snowboarding… Playing at Minute Maid Park in Houston is his most exciting experience in sports.
