2009: Saw action in six games… Sustained muscle tear and was granted a medical redshirt… Went 1-for-16… Had two RBI in vs. CSU Dominguez Hills (2/5/09).
At Long Beach Poly HS: Team MVP his junior season.
Personal: Son of George Hinshaw and Debora Weathersby… Mechanicial Engineering major… Credits much of success by playing at Major League Baseball’s Urban Youth Academy in Compton and coached by former Bronco Michael Frierson… Played on two National Baseball Congress World Series teams (Southern California Barons) played in Wichita, Kan.… Father played for the San Diego Padres… Mother is a principal for the the L.A. Unified School District.
