As a Sophomore in 2017: Appeared in three games in relief... Pitched in 2.1 innings. 

As a Freshman in 2016: Started one game out of the seven games he played for the Broncos… Pitched 6.2 innings and allowed 11 runs, 7 of them earned… Finished with five strikeouts.

As a Freshman in 2015: Did not play and received the Redshirt Designation 

High School: A 2014 graduate of University High School... Played two years of varsity baseball... Played 22 games his senior year... Batted .258 with a .333 on base percentage... Recorded 17 hits, 19 runs batted in, and 12 runs... Held a 4-4 record on the mound... 3.37 earned run average... two complete games, uncluding a complete game shutout on March 4 where he recorded seven strikouts and only allowed four runners to reach via walk.

Personal: Born Sept. 5, 1996 to Shigetoshi and Erie Hasegawa... Father Shigetoshi played nine years in the majors, his first five with the Angels and last four with the Mariners... Business Administration major with a concentration in Business Management and Human Resources... Favorite movie is Anchorman and favorite food is rice... Enjoys watching television, playing video games, and reading in his spare time... Favorite pro athlete is Felix Hernandez and his favorite professional teams are the Seattle Mariners and the Orix Buffaloes (a professional team from Osaka, Japan)... He aspires to follow in his father's footsteps and reach the Majors, then own his own business.
