2009: Everyday second baseman for the Broncos... Appeared in 47 games with 47 starts... Hit .257 with 2 HRs and 26 RBI... Had 152 ABs, 29 runs with 39 hits... Owned a Field Percentage of .966 with just seven errors... Did not commit an error the entire month of March... Nine multi-hit games with season-best three twice (vs. CSU Dominguez Hills, 3./13, and against San Francisco State, Game 1, 4/11... Went 7-for-11 in the April series against Cal State L.A. (two doubles and five RBI)... Slow starter at the plate, but raised his batting average 69 points over the final 29 games of the season.
At Baldwin HS: Two-year all-star in football on the island of Maui... Earned all-state honorable mention... A three-year all-star in baseball... Named 2005 Player of the Year on Maui.
