As a Junior in 2014: Started in 35 games while appearing in 38... Batted .261, with 35 hits in 135 at-bats, had a .385 on base percentage... Scored 26 times while recording 15 runs batted in... Drew 26 walks and had seven doubles... Had nine multi hit games... Went 3-for-3 against Cal State Monterey Bay on February 16...
Recorded 36 put outs defensively, and turned seven double plays. 

At San Diego State: During his sophomore season in 2013, he batted .298 while making 44 starts and appearing in 48 games... The Division I Aztecs squad went 31-31 overall and 15-15 in conference play... He knocked a go-ahead three-run homer in the 2013 Mountain West Conference championships game... Through the year, he scored 24 runs as a sophomore and collected 17 walks... Member of the Quincy Gems of the Prospect League during the summer of 2012... As a freshman at SDSU in 2012, he batted .277 over 47 games with 37 runs, 29 RBI, eight doubles and three home runs... Named the Mountain West Player of the Week on March 5, 2012, for his performance in four games during the Aztec Invitational.

High School: A 2011 graduate of San Dimas High School... During his senior season, he was named All-Valle Vista League First Team and All-Area as well as All-CIF Second Team... In 2011, hit .433 with five doubles, four triples, two home runs and 32 runs scored over 26 games... An Academic All-League Second Team honoree... Spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Covina High School...  As a sophomore hit .352 with 15 doubles, three triples and a homer ... During his freshman campaign batted .310 with 10 doubles.

Personal: Born Nov. 5, 1992... Son of Anthony and Cynthia Muñoz... Father played baseball at Rio Hondo Junior College... Older brother, Jason, played baseball at La Verne... Liberal Studies major... Enjoys playing golf, watching Netflix, and hanging out with family and friends in his free time... Favorite pro athlete is Clayton Kershaw... Favorite pro teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings and Indianapolis Colts... Aspires to a career in law enforcement.
