As a Junior in 2015: Made an appearance in 19 games for the Broncos squad that finished third nationally, appearances included 12 starts on the bump... Tallied an 8-3 overall record while pitching 83.2 innings... Tallied 62 strikeouts and just 18 walks in 310 batters faced... Kept opposing batters to a .252 batting average while allowing just 78 hits... Started and delivered 7.2 scoreless innings for the Broncos against No. 2 Catawba in the Green and Gold's 11-2 victory in the NCAA Division II Championships... His showing included six strikeouts, two walks, and just one hit allowed through 26 batters. 

As a Sophomore in 2014: Started 13 of the 14 games he appeared in... Earned a 7-4 record, with a 4.36 earned run average... Averaged just over 5.2 innings per outing... Earned a complete game 3-hit shutout of Cal State Los Angeles on Feb. 27, throwing a mere 88 pitches, getting three strikeouts and leading the Broncos to a 6-0 victory... Recorded 35 strikeouts and 16 walks... Registered a 1.000 fielding percentage through 15 chances...Allowed only one stolen base, and caught two would-be stealers... Earned a spot on the All-CCAA Team. 

As a Freshman in 2013: Made 12 starts during his freshman season and put together a 5-5 record... His best performance came on April 5 at Cal State Stanislaus, where he held the Warriors hitless through eight complete innings before Stanislaus struck for two hits and two runs in the ninth... That April 5 performance marked his first career complete game as a Bronco... Posted a season earned run average of 4.94 as he allowed 75 hits in 71 innings pitched.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Pacifica High School... He proved to be an asset to the Mariners' baseball team in 2012 as a pitcher and a hitter... Completed his 2012 campaign with a 12-1 record and a 1.51 ERA while helping the team capture the CIF southern section title... Posted a .373 average at the plate... Through his career at Pacific, he achieved a record of 22-4, an earned run average of 1.55 and 168 career strikeouts... Named Empire League Pitcher of the Year honors in 2011 and 2012... Selected to the All-Orange County First Team in 2012.  

Personal: Born May 8, 1994… Son of Ray and Kimberly Bethell… Has an older sister names Kyla and a younger brother named Troy… Business Administration major… Favorite sports team is the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Los Angeles Clippers… Favorite athlete is Babe Ruth… Enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending country concerts and watching MLB network in his free time... Aspires to make a living by playing the game of baseball at the highest level.
