As a Sophomore in 2015: Pitched in 19 games for the Broncos... Secured a 4-0 record as he also earned two starts... Pitched 47 total innings and allowed just 12 earned runs for a 2.30 earned run average... Had nearly a 3-1 strikeout to walk ratio at 41 strikeouts and 15 walks... Allowed just six extra base hits in 180 at bats... Limited opposing batters to a .222 batting average... Part of the CPP team that made it to the NCAA Championships and ifnished at No. 3 in the country. 

As a Freshman in 2014: Pitched 18 innings for the Broncos and earned a 4.00 earned run average... Collected 12 strikeouts and five walks... Recorded his first career win on April 29 with a 10-6 victory over Azusa Pacific... From March to May, only gave up one earned run through eight appearances... Had five consecutive scoreless appeareances from March to the end of April... Gave up only one hit in two playoff appearances, complete with three strikeouts and no walks and no runs scored.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Alta Loma High School... As a senior, he finished with 60.2 innings pitched while racking up 65 strikeouts and compiling a 2.77 earned run average... Named the team's Pitcher of the Year as a freshman... Excelled in the classroom as well, receiving honors from the California Scholarship Federation (CSF), National Honor Society (NHS) and National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS)... Maintained a grade point average above 3.0 through his high school career.

Personal: Son of Deeanne and Richard Koval... Has an older brother named Richard... Business Adminstration major with an emphasis in Finance, Real Estate, and Law... Favorite movie is Batman: The Dark Knight... Favorite food is pasta... Enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with friends and family, and attending concerts in his free time... Favorite pro athlete is Patrick Kane and favorite pro teams are the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs... Aspires to be a professional baseball player.
