At Ohlone College: Hit .300 at the Fremont junior college… Led team with 40 RBI as a sophomore... Earned honorable mention all-league honors and named team’s offensive MVP as a sophomore
At Archbishop Mitty HS: Lettered twice in baseball and a three-time letter winner in football… Hit .417 as a senior and earned all-league honors.
Personal: Son of Rick and Michelle McDowell… Communications major… Sister Amanda graduated from San Diego State.
