At College of the Canyons: Served as the No. 1 starter for College of the Canyons during the 2013 season and earned All-League Second Team honors... Also received a Gold Glove award... Finished with a 7-2 record in 76.1 innings pitched... Collected 41 strikeouts while maintaining a 3.66 earned run average... The team finished 24-16 overall and reached the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Southern California Super Regional postseason.

At Cal State Monterey Bay: Made 11 appearances during the 2012 campaign and started four games... Totaled 28 innings and struck out 21 batters... Compiled a 4.82 earned run average with a 3-1 record.

High School: A 2011 graduate of West Ranch High School... Named to the Valley Invitational Baseball League (VIBL) All-Star Team... Maintained a 3.3 grade point average through his high school career.

Personal: Born Sept. 6, 1993... Son of Susan and James Farnworth... Kinesiology major... Favorite pro athlete is Mariano Rivera and favorite pro team is the Los Angeles Dodgers... Aspires to earn a master's degree and then coach and teach at the junior college level.
