2020 (JUNIOR): Made team-high 10 mound appearances, all in relief, as first-year transfer ... Posted 2.51 ERA and 0.78 WHIP over 14.1 innings, with one save and opponents batting miniscule .182 (8-44) ... Eight strikeouts against three walks, two of them intentional ... Inherited 20 baserunners and allowed only one to score ... Did not give up an extra-base hit ... Did not surrender run in eight of 10 outings, including first five (8.1 IP), hit in six and walk in eight ... Made CPP debut in big way, tossing season-high 2.2 no-hit, scoreless frames in opener vs. UC-Colorado Springs (2/7) with two strikeouts to aid in come-from-behind, 12-inning victory ... In that debut, entered with men at second and third and one gone and Broncos down 4-1 in sixth, and got out of jam by handling comebacker for out at plate before called third strike ... Lone save came in last stint through 1.2 shutout innings (2 H, 0 BB) at San Francisco State (3/8), taking hill with bases full and one out in eighth and escaping via 4-6-3 double play on second pitch, and then notching final putout after ninth began with back-to-back singles ... Saw action in all four meetings with No. 2 UC San Diego (2/14-16) and totaled 5.2 scoreless frames with an infield single, walk and four strikeouts in series split ... Fanned season-best three over 1.2 innings in La Jolla (2/15), entering with bases loaded and one away in fifth and striking out next two Tritons ... On next day during CPP's doubleheader sweep at home, retired eight of nine batters faced (HBP), coming on in first game with bases full and one gone in fifth and inducing 5-4-3 double play to maintain 2-2 tie ... Incredibly took mound with bases loaded for third time in series in nightcap, and started 1-2-3 twin killing to end seventh with score even at 5-5 ... Came into four contests with bags full, getting three inning-ending double plays and none of those runners coming home ... Induced four double plays in all ... Handled five defensive chances cleanly.
2019 (SOPHOMORE at MT. SAC): All-SCC North First Team ... Appeared in 22 games, all in relief ... Posted 8-1 win-loss record with five saves, 2.74 ERA and 32 strikeouts over 46.0 innings ... Opponents hit just .199 (33-166) with no home runs and 17 walks ... Mounties went 26-20 overall and 14-8 in SCC North action to share crown ... Drew walk in lone plate appearance ... Fielded all 19 defensive chances cleanly.
2018 (FRESHMAN at MT. SAC): Appeared in 28 games, all in relief ... Went 6-2 with five saves, 3.53 ERA and 42 strikeouts against 17 walks over 43.1 innings ... Aided Mounties to South Coast Conference North title with records of 35-14 overall and 17-5 in league play ... Mt. SAC went 6-1 through three rounds of CCCAA Southern California Regionals before losing both games at state championship in Fresno ... Fielded .900 (6-12-2) ... Played with CPP teammate Ryon Knowles.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Nogales High School in La Puente ... All-Montview League First Team and San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Area First Team as a senior shortstop who hit stellar .517 (highest average on SGVT squad) with seven doubles and 19 RBI for Montview champion Nobles (27-3) ... Gold Glove ... Spanish Honor Society.
