Biography

As a Junior in 2014-15: Helped the Broncos win the CCAA Tournament... Part of the team that made it to the NCAA Division II West Regional... Appeared in all of the Broncos' games in the 2014-15 season... Averaged 6.7 points per game... Finished sixth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) in assists, averaging three per game... Amassed 57 steals, good for fourth in the CCAA... Helped the Broncos' defense rank No. 2 in the nation... Averaged 28.3 minutes per game, the third-highest total on the team.

As a Sophomore in 2013-14: Continued to bolster the Broncos' defense at the guard position... Helped CPP rank No. 1 nationally in defense for the second-consecutive season as the Broncos went on to reach the second round of the NCAA postseason... Totaled 87 assists through the year, ranking eighth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA)... Defensively, he recorded the 12th-most blocks in the league and the 15th-most steals... Tallied a career-high 17 points in a double-overtime game at Cal State Stanislaus... Averaged 29.9 minutes per game, the second-highest total on the team.
 
As a Redshirt Freshman in 2012-13: Appeared in all the Broncos’ games in the 2012-13 season… Collected a season-high 14 points and shot 64 percent from the field in a victory over Bethesda… Ranked 10th in the conference in assists with an average of 2.7 per game… Averaged 1.5 steals per game, ranking seventh in the CCAA… Achieved a season-high five steals in the conference opener on Nov. 30 at Chico State… Racked up a career-high seven assists in a victory against UC San Diego on Feb. 9.

As a Freshman in 2011-12: Did not compete for the Broncos in 2011-12 and earned the redshirt designation.

High School: A 2011 graduate of McClymonds High School… As a senior, he helped the basketball team to a 16-15 overall record and an 8-2 mark within the Oakland Athletic League (OAL)… The team advanced to the OAL championship game against Oakland High School but ended up falling, 59-56… Also helped the Warriors capture the Division I state championship in 2008, defeating Dominguez High School of Compton, Calif., at the Arco Arena, 73-54… At the conclusion of the 2010-11 campaign, Bell earned the honor of OAL Most Valuable Player… Received Honor Roll recognition all four years for his work in the classroom.

Personal: Son of Barry Bell and Katina Jones… Sociology major with an emphasis in criminology… Enjoys watching movies and hanging out with friends and family in his free time… Favorite pro athletes are Marcus Peters and Rajon Rondo… Favorite pro teams are the Boston Celtics,Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants and the Oakland Raiders… Aspires to coach college basketball.
