Damion Hill begins his 24th season on the sidelines with the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team in 2025-26, and his 14th season as the Associate Head Coach.

Hill's main responsibilities are player development, travel coordinating, and recruiting. During Hill's time on the coaching staff, the Broncos own an impressive 435-198 overall record, good for a .687 winning percentage. He has been by head coach Greg Kamansky's side for 14 NCAA tournament appearances, six CCAA Championships, four West Region Championships, two National Final appearances, and the Division II National Championship which CPP captured in 2009-10.

Hill graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in advertising and has his Master's Degree in education.  He is a graduate of Palm Springs High School and also played basketball for two seasons at Sacramento City College, where he earned second-team All-Conference honors and was his team's Most Valuable Player as a sophomore. He then played one season at Cal Poly Pomona during the 2001-02 season.

Hill resides in Huntington Beach. He enjoys traveling, reading, listening to music and spending time with his family, including his mother Janet and younger brother Marques. Coaching success runs in the Hill family as Damion's late father Jerry was a coach for 25 years, including leading the girls' basketball program at Cathedral City High School in the Palm Springs area.

Damion's favorite sports moment was Magic Johnson's "Baby Sky-hook" over Kevin McHale and Robert Parish in the 1987 NBA Finals.

Hill married wife Reyana on August 5th, 2017 and recently welcomed daughter Zuri on October 7th, 2022.
