Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

As a Freshman in 2012-13: Played 15 games during his debut season and averaged 1.8 minutes per contest… Collected the first two points of his career against Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 16… Notched his first career block and steal against Cal State Stanislaus on Jan. 31.

As a  Redshirt Freshman in 2011-12: Did not compete for the Broncos in 2011-12 and received the redshirt designation.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Ramona High School... As a senior, averaged 15.7 points, 11.6 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game... Received All-Sunbelt League First Team honors and earned a spot in the Palomar All-Star game... Also selected as Ramona High School's Athlete of the Year... Earned Honor Roll recognition as a junior and senior for his work in the classroom.

Personal: Son of Leon and Lisa Wells... Has a younger sister named Ashton... Graphic Design major... Enjoys drawing, watching TV and playing video games in his free time... Favorite pro teams are the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder... Favorite athlete is LeBron James… Aspires to own a design business and run a basketball camp for kids.
