At Colorado: Missed the 2009-10 season at Colorado because of a knee injury... He bounced back to deliver high-energy play the next two seasons... In a 2011 NIT second-round game against Cal, he followed up a teammate's missed shot with a monster dunk to land the No. 1 spot on ESPN Sportscenter Top Plays... During that same season, he tied a school record for games played with 38 and ended up totaling 46 assists... Also in 2010-11, he ranked fifth on the team in assists (46) with a 1.77 assist-to-turnover ratio... Handed-out a season-best six assists in home win over Texas-Pan American on Nov. 30... In 2011-12, member of the Pac-12 Conference Tournament Championship team and the automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament winning four games in four days at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Corona Centennial High School... As a senior, he posted per game averages of 17.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 3.3 steals... Helped the Huskies to a 27-5 record during his senior season... Tallied four top-five Mountain View League finishes in points (2nd), assists (1st), steals (1st), rebounds (4th)... Recorded five triple-doubles during his senior campaign... Mountain View League and Triple Crown Tournament Most Valuable Player... Also named to the Inland Empire and Corona all-tournament team... Division 2 All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and All-Riverside County first-team his senior year... Member of 2007 All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) championship team... Helped Corona to the 2007 and 2008 Mountain View League Championship... In 2008, AAU team was ranked No. 3 nationally.

Personal: Son of the late Jude and Monique Sharpe... Has a younger sister named Shari... Spent 2008-09 at Laurinburg (N.C.) Institute, but did not play basketball.
