Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

As a Junior in 2014: Named both the CCAA Offensive and Newcomer of the Year... Named to the CCAA All-Tournament Team... Was the CCAA's top scorer, adding 10 goals to the Broncos' offensive talent... Also provided three assists... Two of his scores came in the CCAA Championships postseason... Scored twice in both the season opener and 3-0 win over Holy Names and against Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 26 in CPP's 2-1 victory... Part of the best team in program history... The team went 17-1-2 and finished their season after winning the CCAA Tournament Championship. 

At Cal State Northridge: Appeared in nine matches for the Matadors in 2012 and had a pair of assists. As a freshman in 2011, he scored four goals and added two assists for 10 points in his inaugural campaign... He scored a goal in the season opener against Canisius, at then-No. 7 UCLA and twice against Cal State Fullerton, including the game winner on the final day of the year. 

High School: A 2011 graduate of Mission Viejo High School... Competed for the Mission Viejo Diablos, earning a letter and captaining the squad during his senior year... Three-time Offensive Player of the Year... While at Mission Viejo, he was voted team MVP and named to the All-League First Team... He also played for United Futbol Club, captaining and starting for the team as well.

Personal: Son of Samuel and Erlinda... Has two sisters, Natalie and Christina... Communication major with an emphasis in Public Relations... Enjoys hanging out with friends and family, guitar, beach and golfing in his free time... Favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean... Favorite types of food are Italian and Mexican food... Favorite pro athletes are Neymar, David Villa, Christiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi... Favorite pro team is Manchester United... Aspires to become a representative for a business.
