Brent Broadhurst is entering into his fifth season in 2016 as a program associate for the men’s soccer team.

In his fourth season with the team, CPP secured the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Tournament Title, the West Region Title, and finished the season 17-3-3 with the program's first-ever NCAA Championships Runner-Up finish. 17 wins marks the second-straight season that the Green and Gold have boasted the program-record in wins. 

In the 2015 postseason, besides CPP locking in the CCAA Tournament Title, the Broncos won the program's first-ever NCAA postseason game with a 1-0 win over Cal State LA. They went on to post a 4-1 NCAA postseason record which included defeating three nationally-ranked teams. 

The 2014 season saw the Broncos' team finish with the best record in program history and a record of 17-1-2. CPP also earned a program first CCAA Tournament Title.

In addition to working at Cal Poly Pomona, Broadhurst serves as a Technical Director for FC Man United in Walnut, Calif., where he is responsible for training and developing student-athletes in college soccer programs. Coach Brent currently holds his US National “A” coaching license.

He got his first coaching responsibility in 2003 when he served as the varsity boys' soccer coach at Etiwanda High School, where he stayed for five years. During Brent’s coaching career at the high school level, he also coached club soccer at Apple Valley Storm from 2003-2007. In 2008, Brent was hired at FC Man United as the clubs youth director and in 2011 Brent was promoted to Technical Director.

Broadhurst earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 2007 from Cal State San Bernardino and is working on his master's degree for coaching and athletic administration at Concordia University. He currently resides in Anaheim, Calif.
