As a Junior in 2010: Put together a fine junior campaign for the Broncos, appearing in all 18 matches and earning 16 starts... Logged 1,336 minutes while picking up a goal and an assist... First career score for CPP came on Oct. 8 in a 3-0 home win over Cal State Monterey Bay.

At Cerritos College: Played critical role on 2009 team that finished second in the nation... Earned All-West Region All-American Second Team honors.... Earned All-South Coast Conference First Team recognition as a freshman when team won the state title.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Bellflower High School, where he was a three-time All-Suburban League First Team selection... Helped the team capture a league championship in 2007.

Personal: Son of Alvaro and Socorro Perez... Has three older siblings named Brenda, Antonio and Alvaro Jr... Plant Science major... Enjoys listening to music, watching soccer, bowling, going to the movies and hanging out with friends in his free time... Favorite pro athlete is Lionel Messi and favorite pro teams are FC Barcelona, Chivas and the Los Angeles Lakers... Aspires to work for the government.
