Biography

As a Junior in 2013: Played in 11 games and made two starts as a junior... Tallied two goals, including one against Dominican on Sept. 7 and then another versus San Francisco State on Oct. 27.

As a Sophomore in 2012: Appeared in 11 matches while earning seven starts…Tallied a season-high 63 minutes in a 1-1 tie on Sept. 30 against San Francisco State and scored the Broncos' only goal in the overtime thriller…Recorded four shots on the season and tallied one goal.

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2011: Appeared in 17 of the Broncos' 18 matches... Tallied his first career goal on Sept. 18 in a 3-0 home victory over UC San Diego... Received a spot on the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic Team for holding a grade point average above 3.40 through the 2011-12 academic year.

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2010: Did not compete for the Broncos in 2010 due to injury.

At Cal State Bakersfield: Redshirt in 2009 for the Division I Roadrunners.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Arlington High School, where he led the Lions to the 2009 Inland Valley League title... Named league’s Offensive Player of the Year... Recorded 16 goals and 13 assists in 28 matches... Earned spots on the All-Inland Valley First Team and All-CIF Southern Section First Team while also getting picked for the CIF and Riverside County All-Star teams... Named to the 2009 All-Area team in the Jan./Feb. edition of ESPN Rise Magazine.

Personal: Son of Rob and Cynthia Trantow... Kinesiology major with Pedagogy option... Favorite pro teams are the Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Vikings and Manchester United...Favorite pro athlete is Stone Cold Steve Austin…Enjoys eating contests in his free time…Aspires to help the lives of others through teaching or personal training.
