As a Redshirt Junior in 2016: Tallied six goals and one assists in 15 starts...Finished the season with a .452 shots on goal percentage.

As a Junior in 2015: Played 47 minutes over two games before suffering a season ending injury... Received a Medical Redshirt.

As a Sophomore in 2014: Played in 14 of the Broncos' 20 games while making a start in five of them... Scored one goal and tallied four assists... Scored in the Green and Gold's 3-1 victory over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 10... Part of the best team in program history... The team went 17-1-2 and finished their season after winning the CCAA Tournament Championship.

As a Freshman in 2013: Named the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Freshman of the Year for the 2013 season... Ranked second on the team in points with four goals and four assists... He was the first CCAA Player of the Week selection of the season after guiding the Broncos to two non-conference wins... His first career goal proved to be a game winner, lifting CPP to a 3-1 home win over Holy Names in the season opener... He also added two assists in that game... Appeared in 17 games and started the final eight contests of the season.
 
High School: A 2013 graduate of Tulare Western High School.. Was a varsity team starter his freshman and sophomore years… Attended Cal Odyssey Academy from 2010-2013 to further develop his skills… Played for the Fresno Fuego of the United Soccer League Premier Development League (PDL) in 2013… Earned a spot on the honor roll with a 3.30 grade point average.

Personal: Son of Luis and Patty Najera… Father played soccer for Celaya FC in Mexico… Kinesiology major… Favorite food is pizza... Has a number of favorite movies... Enjoys listening to music and eating good food in his free time… Favorite professional athlete is Ronaldinho… Favorite professional teams are FC Barcelona, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Oakland Raiders, and the Los Angeles Kings…Aspires to play soccer professionally.
