Overall in the league, Oxnard finished as the second-best defense with just 10 goals allowed... Earned a spot on the All-League First Team and made Honor Roll through his time at Oxnard.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Buena High School... Received All-League Second Team mention as a junior and as a senior... Earned Honor Roll mention in all four years at Buena for his work in the classroom.

Personal: Son of Mario Vargas and Lorraine Haussmann... Has three siblings named Anthony, Alex and Allison... Kinesiology major... Enjoys sleeping in his free time... Favorite teams are the Florida Gators and the Miami Dolphins... Favorite pro athlete is Georges St-Pierre.. Aspires to help the Broncos win a national title.
