In 2015 Track and Field: Competed in the 3,000 meters and the 5,000 meter events for the Broncos... Season best of 9:59.40 in the 3,000 meters at CSUF... In the 5,000 meters recorded a season best of 16:42.65 at UCSD.
In 2014 Track and Field: Season high of 27:04.2 in the 8,000 meter run.
At El Camino College:Â Placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase event at the conference meet... Finished 10th in the same event at the state meet... Received Scholar Athlete honors for both cross country and track and field.
High School:Â A 2011 graduate of El Segundo High School... Set personal bests of 4:48 in the 1,600, 2:08 in the 800 and 10:31 in the 3,200... Graduated with honors.
Personal:Â Son of Michael van Biezen and Zong Liang... Electrical Engineering major... Enjoys napping and playing Scrabble... Favorite pro athlete is Bernard Lagatt... Favorite pro teams are the Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Lakers and every U.S. national team... Aspires to become an engineer.
