Biography
As a Senior in 2012: Did not compete for the Broncos during the 2012 track and field season.
As a Junior in 2011: Recorded a season-best mark of 169-5 in the hammer throw at the Cal-Nevada Invitational...Posted a 154-6 mark in discus and a 43-7 in shot put at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships.
At Cerritos College: Posted the third-best hammer throw (156-6) in Cerritos program history on Feb. 20, 2010... That mark earned him sixth place at the Cerritos Invitational.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Downey High School... Advanced to the CIF prelims three years in a row... Won the San Gabriel Valley League championship in a throwing event his sophomore and junior years... Also reached the league finals as a freshman.
Personal: Son of Deanna Huitt... Has two older siblings, Chris and Trudi... Brother Chris competed in track and field at Long Beach State... Favorite pro athlete is Muhammad Ali…Kinesiology major... Enjoys spending time with his family and friends and also helping other people… Aspires to one day teach kids to become physically active.
