Ashley Lovett is entering her first season with the Broncos as a program associate. Lovett graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly Pomona in 2015. She was a member of the Broncos women’s basketball team for two seasons after transferring from Loyola Marymount.
Her junior year, Lovett was a key component for the Broncos with her excellent rebounding and field goal percentage. She received All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Second Team honors and earned a spot on the West Regional All-Tournament Team. She helped the Broncos to a West Region title, and third place in the National Tournament.
In her senior season she once again earned a spot on the All-CCAA Second Team. Lovett was one of the top post players in the CCAA and ranked fifth in rebounds per game and second in field-goal percentage. She ranked first on the team in rebounding average and third in scoring average.
Lovett enjoys listening to music, watching movies and hanging out with family in her free time. Some of her favorite pro teams include the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Athletics. She’s been active in the community and has volunteered with the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Walk, the Ramona Manor Senior Home, Boys & Girls Club and Feed the Homeless.
