Sabrina White

Sabrina White enters her first season as an assistant coach with Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball in 2026-27.

White joined the Broncos after spending five seasons as an assistant coach at Cal State LA, where she helped guide the Golden Eagles to sustained success in the California Collegiate Athletic Association and NCAA West Region. During her five seasons, Cal State LA compiled a 93-53 overall record and a 72-35 mark in CCAA play. In 2025-26, White helped lead the team to its first CCAA Tournament title, coincidentally defeating Cal Poly Pomona in the championship game.

During White’s tenure, the Golden Eagles earned back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2022-23 and 2023-24, marking the first time in program history Cal State LA reached the national postseason in consecutive seasons. The 2022-23 squad finished 20-10, recorded the program’s first 20-win season since 2013, and established a program record with 16 conference victories. Cal State LA also advanced to the CCAA Tournament in each of White’s first four seasons, including three consecutive semifinal appearances from 2022 through 2024.

Prior to Cal State LA, White spent two seasons at Biola from 2019-21, helping the Eagles during their transition to NCAA Division II. During her tenure, Biola set a program record for victories and achieved a No. 1 defensive ranking.

White also brings extensive experience in professional basketball development. She participated in the NBA Assistant Coach Development Program in 2024 and coached at the G League Elite Camp and NBA Draft Combine. In 2022, she was one of 96 participants, including eight women, selected for the Sports Business Classroom, where she received hands-on training in NBA scouting, video, and analytics. Her group, representing the Indiana Pacers, won the program’s mock draft competition in front of NBA executives.

Her additional basketball experience includes serving as a professional skills trainer for WNBA Enterprises LLC, a youth development specialist for USA Basketball, and an international basketball scout for TPG Sports Inc. She also served as an ambassador for the Los Angeles Sparks during the organization’s 2016 WNBA championship season.

Before entering the collegiate ranks, White spent nearly a decade coaching high school basketball, serving as a varsity girls basketball head coach in the Garden Grove Unified School District from 2006-15.

White earned a Bachelor of Arts in exercise science from Concordia University Irvine and a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia.
