In 2013 Cross Country: At the conference championships in Chico, she placed 12th overall to earn All-CCAA cross country honors for the first time in her career... Her time of 22:48.4 marked a season best.

In 2013 Track and Field: Key contributor on the Broncos' track and field squad in 2013 as she competed in the 4x400 relay early in the season before focusing solely on the 800- and 1,500-meter individual events... Her top 1,500-meter time of 2013 came at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 18 when she crossed the line in 4:33.89... That mark represents the fifth-best mark in CPP program history and it earned her a spot at the 2013 NCAA D-II Track and Field National Championships in Pueblo, Colo.

In 2012 Cross Country: She was the second Bronco to cross the finish line at the CCAA Cross Country Championships as she recorded a mark of 22:48.3 to place 17th, narrowly missing All-CCAA selection... Earlier in the year, she placed sixth at the Pomona Pitzer Invite with a season-best time of 22:46.1 across the 6,000-meter race.

In 2012 Track & Field: At the Rossi Relays in late February, she was part of the distance medley group that set a new program record after crossing the line in 11:58.78 to finish second in the event... In that distance medley, she ran the 1,200-meter portion in 3:44.2... Recorded the team's top 800-meter mark of 2012 as she ran a 2:18.21 at Azuza Pacific on April 20... Ranks 10th all-time at CPP in the 1,500-meter event after crossing the line in 4:37.37 at Claremont Mudd Scripps on April 14.

In 2011 Cross Country: Put together an impressive freshman campaign for the Broncos' cross country team... Competed in five races racing her top time at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships in Santa Rosa, finishing in 22:22.4 to place 25th overall... Finished 40th overall at the NCAA West Region Championships in Spokane, Wash.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Colony High School... Served as a team captain for two years... Recorded personal bests of 2:19 in the 800-meter, 5:13 in the 1,600-meter, 11:28 in the 3,200-meter and 18:46 across three miles.

Personal: Daughter of Francisco and Paula Huerta... Kinesiology major... Her brother, Francisco, competed in cross country and track and field at La Verne... Enjoys eating, being outdoors and hanging out with friends and family in her free time... Favorite pro teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Lakers... Aspires to become a physical education teacher for students with disabilities.
