Biography
At Mt. San Antonio College: In 2008, she helped lead the Mt. SAC squad to the State Championship quarterfinals... Recorded a hat trick against L.A. Harbor in an impressive 9-1 victory... While competing for the Mounties, she was teammates with four current Broncos: Jennifer Rivera, Sarah Hanna, Michelle Nava and Cindy Paez.
At University of San Diego: Competed for the Toreros in 2005, earning an All-West Coast Conference (WCC) honorable mention selection as a true freshman... Played in all 19 matches and started in 17... Took eight shots, two on goal... Recorded one assist for one point... Assisted the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over UC Irvine on Sept. 23... Posted eight shots on the season for a 0.42 shots per game average.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Walnut High School, where she earned four varsity letters in soccer... Twice named a First Team All-CIF performer... As a junior, tabbed the San Gabriel Valley Player of the Year, as well as the team and San Antonio League MVP... Helped her team to two CIF Division III Championships... Coached by Lorraine Hansen... Played club soccer for the SoCal Blues... Club team won the U-15 State Championships.
Personal: Daughter of Patrick and Darlene Carriaga... Nutritional Sciences major... Enjoys reading books in her free time... Favorite pro team is the Los Angeles Lakers... Aspires to become a registered dietician and serving as a nutritionist for a professional sports team.
